Job summary

CCS Facility Services is hiring a janitor to keep commercial workplaces clean, organized and disinfected. You will perform interior cleaning, restrooms, trash removal, and general upkeep to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 6:30 pm. Candidates should be dependable, punctual, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided with emphasis on safety and quality, including following safety procedures and notifying supervisors of unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• Attendance and punctuality are essential to perform tasks on time.
• Dependability includes following instructions and meeting commitments.
• Safety procedures must be followed; use equipment properly.
• Willingness to work in environments with typical manufacturing/industrial cues.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of buildings: floors, carpets, windows, walls and general areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop; clean offices, lobbies, hallways, restrooms and common areas.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Empty trash, recyclables and maintain cleaning supplies inventory.
• Close doors at end of night shift; notify supervisors of unsafe conditions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety rules.
