Job summary

Allied Universal in El Monte, CA is seeking a Janitor to perform cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas across client sites, with flexibility to adapt tasks per client specifications.

Weekly pay is offered. The role supports full-time and part-time shifts with a pay rate of $16.90/hr. A reliable work ethic and ability to follow written and oral directions are important. Experience in janitorial work is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in janitorial work.
• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean all waste containers and dispose of waste.
• Empty and clean ash trays; monitor sand and refill as required.
• Dust image frames, charts, graphs and wall hangings.
• Dust ceiling diffusers, grills and vents.
• Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplace and lobbies.
• Wipe and dust office furnishings, files and fixtures.
• Clean glass surfaces and hardware.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms and restock supplies.
• Sweep and mop floors across facilities.
