Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring for a janitorial position in the Southwest/Northwest Chicagoland area. The role involves cleaning and upkeep of client sites, following client specifications, and maintaining safety standards.

Wage is $20.00 per hour, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 5:00pm to 1:00pm, contributing to reliable part-time or full-time work within a leading facilities company. This temporary position emphasizes flexibility, attention to detail, and consistency in cleaning tasks

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and oral directions.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience in a janitorial type position.

Responsibilities

• Empty and clean all waste container. Remove waste paper and garbage from the premises to selected area; damp wipe containers.
• Dust all image frames, charts, graphs and wall hangings
• Damp dust all ceiling and air condition diffusers, partition grilles, register and other ventilating louvers
• Vacuum all mats and carpeted areas in workplace, lobbies, and corridors.
• Hand dust and clean all office furnishings, files, fixtures, paneling, window sills and all other flat surfaces
• Wipe clean and buff all metal hardware fixtures and added bright work
• Clean building floors, by sweeping and mopping
• Clean and sanitize, and restock supplies in bathrooms
