Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform general cleaning and preservation tasks within client facilities in West Virginia. The role requires flexibility to adapt duties per site specifications and may include part-time or full-time shifts.

Compensation is $13 per hour, with a schedule of Monday through Sunday 6:00 AM–11:00 AM. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to follow instructions with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months in janitorial work.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage disposal; operate compactors as required.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors with appropriate cleaners and tools.
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extraction and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow the housekeeping schedule and routines.
• Occasionally operate heavy cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers.
• Perform other duties as required by scope of work or client needs.
