Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Janitorial Cleaner to provide cleaning services across assigned facilities in the Minnesota area. The role supports a clean, safe environment for employees, clients, and visitors.

You will perform routine cleaning, restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and surface polishing while following safety protocols and reporting any issues to supervision. Prior cleaning experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and waste per policy.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment and supplies properly.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for meetings or events as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company protocols related to cleaning and sanitation.
