Job summary

Calderdale Council in Halifax is seeking a Facilities Support Cleaning Quality Assistant to support cleaners and team leaders in delivering a high standard of service across council buildings. The role is part-time and field-based, with some weekend/evening work outside core hours.

You will monitor cleaning standards, assist in training, and help maintain equipment and records while ensuring COSHH and health & safety compliance. This permanent role may involve DBS checks where required.

Qualifications

• COSHH knowledge required.
• Familiarity with cleaning regimes and safety standards.
• Ability to document checks and maintain records.
• DBS may be required for appointment.
