Job summary

Austin Industrial is hiring a Janitor to maintain clean and safe facilities across client sites. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and office areas, and performing general housekeeping tasks as needed. You will follow all safety guidelines and use approved cleaning solutions and equipment.

New hires must have a valid driver's license. No prior experience is required, and there may be opportunities for additional cleaning projects and shifts based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Education: no minimum education requirements.
• Certification/Licenses: Valid Driver's License.
• Experience: no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
