Job summary

PSC Group is seeking a Facility Custodian in New Albany, Indiana to perform cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal and routine maintenance to keep facilities safe and functional. The role requires following safety procedures, completing monthly training, and operating a golf cart or UTV as needed.

Work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM with occasional overtime; a valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Wear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams
• Regular on-site attendance and punctuality is required
• May require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location
• Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and property in a clean, orderly, and functional condition, including routine maintenance and heavy cleaning duties
• Perform floor care, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning (shampooing or steam-cleaning)
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and maintain overall facility cleanliness, including dusting furniture, walls, and equipment
• Clean and maintain unit breakrooms and office lunchrooms
• Collect and remove trash from offices and buildings, disposing of it in designated dumpsters
• Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with established procedures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to ensure proper handling and prevent damage
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and ensure adequate stock levels
• Notify management of any equipment repairs or maintenance needs
• Complete required PSC and Dow monthly computer-based training
• Safely operate a golf cart or UTV as needed to perform job duties
• Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job
