Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is seeking a part-time janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas within single or multiple client sites. The role requires flexibility as tasks vary by client, with duties including floor care, restroom upkeep, and trash removal.

The position offers $15.00 per hour, with morning, afternoon and evening shifts available, Monday through Sunday, and weekly pay. Training is provided and Diversified Maintenance is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 6 months of janitorial experience.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment.
• Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies.
• Follow housekeeping schedule.
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers.
• Other duties as assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.
