Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a maintenance team member to keep floors, seating areas, restrooms, and back offices clean and safe. You will follow SOPs, support other teams, and perform duties across store maintenance and repairs. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required, along with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering courteous, efficient service while upholding WFM standards and health regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent maintenance service.
• Performs all duties on the daily and weekly maintenance lists.
• Supports all teams with cleaning projects.
• Performs minor repairs and improvements.
• Participates in ordering supplied required for store maintenance.
• Helps with cleaning emergencies.
• Maintains store landscaping and parking lot.
• Performs continual cleaning of all store departments.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; attends required trainings and meetings.
• Reports safety hazards and violations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership.
