ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise facility operations at an Amarillo, TX site. The Lead delegates tasks, guides staff, and ensures cleaning standards and safety for workers and customers.

The role involves operating equipment, handling cleaning chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed, with responsibilities including scheduling, training, and time tracking. Must be 18+ with preferred supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Valid Driver's license.
• Site-specific certifications or trainings may be required.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules, route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Report client communications between field employees and management.
• Oversee cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Handle keys and access cards for the property.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests (tag job).
• Oversee quality of work and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Provide training for new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
