Job summary

ABM Industries in San Juan, Puerto Rico, is seeking a reliable Lead to supervise daily facility operations, delegate tasks, and guide front-line staff to maintain clean, safe buildings for workers and customers.

You will coordinate schedules, oversee cleaning operations, manage access, report issues, and train new hires. The role rewards veterans and candidates with military experience; a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards; report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field staff and management; document client communications.
• Assist with daily/weekly work schedules and oversee cleaning operations.
• Manage keys/access cards and report damaged items.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in the building.
• Ensure quality of work and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires per onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for regular or subcontractor staff.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
