Job summary

ABM Auburn, AL is seeking a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations, delegate assignments, and guide the team when the Manager is away. The Shift Leader ensures cleanliness and safety standards are met across the site.

You will operate specialized equipment, handle cleaning chemicals, supervise staff, train new hires, and maintain accurate time records. The role supports ongoing client communications and reporting to the Area Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and report barriers.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Communicate with management and document client communications.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in the assigned building.
• Train new hires and complete time records for employees.
• Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals weekly.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests and ensure job completion with Area Manager.
