Placements24 is seeking a reliable Facilities Cleaner for a client site in Paarl. You will perform daily cleaning of common areas, restrooms, offices, and kitchens, helping maintain a safe and hygienic environment for staff and visitors.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, and a commitment to consistent quality. You will receive all necessary cleaning supplies and equipment and work regular hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a commercial or facilities setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and their safe use.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, and lifting.
• A strong commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors in designated areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal according to facility guidelines.
• Maintain the cleanliness of kitchenettes and break rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards observed to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all company policies and health and safety regulations.
