Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a maintenance/janitorial associate to uphold high safety and cleanliness standards across the club. You will gather and return carts, clean floors, and support a positive member experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes reliable attendance, teamwork, and the ability to operate basic cleaning equipment while following club policies and procedures. This position offers weekly pay and benefits based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior retail/wholesale experience preferred.
• May be under 18 for cart functions; must be over 18 to operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of club areas including the sales floor, restrooms, and outdoor grounds.
• Greet and assist members, manage carts and ensure stock at entrance.
• Perform routine cleaning and small maintenance tasks; notify management of major repairs.
• Attend to other duties as assigned and maintain attendance.
