The role involves repairs, renovations, and new construction to campus structures, restoring furnishings, and assisting the carpenter supervisor with material and labor cost data.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and carpentry experience; OSHA 10/30 certification and welding/roofing certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience in carpentry/building maintenance.
• Certification in welding, roofing, or aerial lifts is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, alterations, renovations and new construction to campus structures.
• Restore, recondition, or manufacture and repair furnishings.
• Assist supervisor in preparing accurate material and labor cost data for renovation projects.
• Complete projects timely and safely.
• Read drawings, specifications and sketches; follow instructions.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed; on-call rotation.
