Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions in Virginia is seeking a Facilities Carpenter to cut, fabricate, and install wooden structures according to specifications. You will work on window frames, doors, stairs, and other build projects across diverse settings, ensuring sturdy infrastructure and quality craftsmanship.

Ideal candidates have strong carpentry techniques, experience with hand and power tools, and a collaborative, service-oriented leadership style.

• Inspect areas and conduct repairs or maintenance.

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Facilities Carpenter.In this role, yourresponsibility is to cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications. The job entails working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructure and products.

As part of our team,you’llembody our Promise toLead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences.

Hourly rate: $24-$29/hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material (e.g.fiberglass) according to measurements
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are leveled and compatible
• Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated
• Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance

• Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
