Job summary

American Regent, Inc. is seeking a Custodian to maintain a clean and safe facility in New York. You will clean offices and common areas, disinfect bathrooms, and use floor care equipment while stocking supplies and assisting with grounds maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and the ability to read SOPs and manuals; overtime may be required. We offer a stable environment with opportunities to contribute to a healthcare-focused site.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or trade school certification accepted.
• Must be able to read documents in Standard English (SOPs, maintenance schedules, operating manuals).
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all types of cleaning throughout the building.
• Cleans, disinfects and restores bathrooms.
• Buffs and mops floors, sweep, dust, mop, clean glass and vacuum floors.
• Uses various floor care machines.
• Stocks bathrooms and cafeterias with appropriate supplies.
• Removes garbage and cardboard.
• Perform miscellaneous outdoor cleaning chores, such as grounds keeping and snow removal.
• Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by management.
