Job summary

Springville is seeking a Capital Improvement Project Manager to lead planning, development, and management of capital projects for city buildings and facilities. This role oversees projects from concept to completion, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and City staff to meet budgets, timelines, and safety standards.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in a related field and at least five years of capital project management experience, with Utah driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, project management, facilities management, engineering, architecture, public administration, or closely related field is preferred.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in capital project management, contract administration, facilities management, construction management, or closely related work is required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience (equal to 9 years) may be considered.
• Must possess a valid Utah Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of capital improvement projects for city buildings and facilities.
• Coordinate building renovations and facility modernization efforts.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cost estimates, and RFPs; ensure procurement compliance.
• Act as liaison among contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and internal staff.
• Conduct site inspections, track milestones, and maintain project documentation.
