UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled Facilities Building Services Coordinator to support campus facilities maintenance. Requires six years in building maintenance and proficiency across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, and painting trades.
You will coordinate maintenance, supervise staff, and liaise with occupants to identify needs while working with minimal supervision on journeyman level tasks across multiple trades.

UT Southwestern is seeking a skilled Facilities Building Services Coordinator to support the maintenance and operation of campus facilities. We are looking for someone with a minimum of six (6) years of hands-on work experience in building maintenance, proficiency in multiple skilled trades (such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, carpentry, and painting), excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
As a Facilities Building Services Coordinator, you will perform journeyman-level work across multiple building trades, coordinate maintenance activities, serve as a liaison with building occupants, and help oversee Building Maintenance staff as needed. This role works under minimal supervision to provide journeyman level skills in performance of work of at least two trades or crafts and to act as liaison between Facilities and Administrators of assigned areas.
Work Location: Dallas Campus; may require travel to and from other UTSW facilities.
Shift Requirement: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday; requires after-hours or weekend availability for emergencies (flood, fire, etc.), approved overtime, and/or inclement weather situations.
Hospital background preferred but not required.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to Texas Education Code 51.215, which authorizes UT Southwestern to obtain criminal history record information.
