Coke Florida is looking for a Facilities Building Maintenance Assistant to work out of our Orlando facility, working Sunday - Thursday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM OR Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

What You Will Do

As a Building Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, or arranging for repairs of all building operating systems on the site. May be assigned to a single building or multiple buildings. Must have reliable transportation and be available for after-hour emergency calls.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with completing all regulatory and mandatory inspections, ensuring they are done within specified timeframes (inspections include building perimeter, docks, eye wash stations, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, fences, AEDs, racking, first aid kits, waste, stormwater systems, spill kits, support columns, bollards).
• Perform preventative and general maintenance, assisting with minor repairs to building and mechanical systems.
• Replace light bulbs/tubes and ceiling tiles as needed.
• Perform restroom plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Respond to customer requests via personal contact and work order systems.
• Maintain maintenance logs and records, familiar with preventative maintenance and work order software.
• Ensure safety of building occupants and continuous site operation.
• Follow all written operating procedures related to the site.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of facilities maintenance, janitorial, or engineering experience.
• Ability to handle multiple projects supporting building engineers.
• Basic computer and email skills.
• Ability to complete safety training relevant to the role.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding environment.
