Job summary

Triple Shift Entertainment in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Facilities B technician to keep bowling equipment in optimal condition and uphold safety standards. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, and related machinery.

You'll perform preventative maintenance, document activities, and assist with housekeeping, while following Triple Shift policies. The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical skills, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and

Responsibilities

• Show Excellence by regularly inspecting bowling facility electrical, mechanical, and computerized equipment including pinsetters, ball returns, scoring systems, bumper systems, sound and lighting systems, polishers, resurfacing machines, lanes oiling machines, and drill presses.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions by referring to diagrams, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment.
• Own It by performing checks, inspecting worn parts, tracing wiring, disassembling, and repairing or replacing defective components with hand tools.
• Clean and lubricate machines, following maintenance schedules.
• Measure and regulate sweep of automatic pinsetters using hand tools and gauges.
• Ensure lanes beds meet USBC standards and adjust lanes and pin decks as required.
• Maintain required records and reports.
• Initiate requests for spare parts, supplies, and hand equipment.
• Perform general housekeeping and safety tasks; assist with other mechanical/electrical work as needed.

The Facilities B technician will keep the pin spotters/pinsetters and other bowling equipment in proper working order, maintain all safety procedures, and ensure that the shop and machine area are always clean and organized. Follow preventative maintenance program for all center equipment; will ensure that the venue is clean and maintained according to Triple Shift policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Show Excellence by regularly inspects bowling facility electrical, mechanical, and computerized equipment to include automatic pinsetter, automatic ball returns, automatic scoring systems, automatic bumper systems, sound and lighting systems, automatic ball polishers, ball resurfacing machines, lanes stripping & oiling machines and drill presses.
• Diagnosing equipment malfunctions by referring to manufacturer's diagrams and specifications, schematics, and wiring diagrams using test equipment.
• Own It by performing operational checks, visually check for worn or damaged parts, trace wiring, disassemble, make necessary adjustments, repair, or replace defective mechanical and electrical components or parts using soldering irons, wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other hand tools.
• Cleans and lubricates machines, following maintenance schedules.
• Measures and regulates sweep of rake on automatic pinsetters using hand tools and gauges
• Respect the importance of maintaining accuracy by running automatic pinsetter through complete cycle and inspects for pin setting accuracy.
• Own it by assuring lanes beds meet USBC standards and adjusts lanes and pin decks as required.
• Maintains required records and reports.
• Initiates requests for spare parts, supplies, hand equipment
• Performs general housekeeping tasks to ensure proper standard of appearance, cleanliness, and safety of venue.
• When needed, perform other mechanical and electrical work for the venue.
• Courage to work other duties as assigned.
