Job summary

• Supervise maintenance and repair of electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians and coordinate with vendors for services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of essential building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and other critical infrastructure.
• Supervise the maintenance, repair, and performance optimization of electric forklifts, pallet jacks, and related material handling equipment.
• Manage and oversee the operation and maintenance of the ANCRA unloading system, ensuring it is fully operational and maintained to standard.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for building systems and material handling equipment to minimize downtime.
• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and providing training.
• Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose issues, and lead repair efforts to minimize downtime.
• Manage relationships with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.
• Assist in developing and managing the maintenance budget and track expenses.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and building codes across all maintenance activities.
• Monitor energy consumption and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and sustainability.
• Maintain thorough records of maintenance activities and prepare regular status reports for management.
