Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland is seeking a Facilities Attendant for the Bossier City site, responsible for preventive maintenance and upkeep of the casino-hotel facilities.

The role requires knowledge of HVAC, alarms, generators, and general trades such as painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years in maintenance for a commercial facility.
• Must work in an alcohol and smoking environment.
• Must secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of all Live! Casino and Hotel facilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC, alarm systems, and generators.
• Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry and other maintenance tasks.
• Preventative maintenance as scheduled on equipment.
• Ensure safety and security of guests and team members.
• Maintain, repair and replace gaming table layouts.
• Operate hand and power tools and related safety equipment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Accountable for preventative maintenance of all Live! Casino and Hotel facilities, property, and equipment.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Responsible for general maintenance of all facilities of the Live! Casino and Hotel property.
• Knowledge of the HVAC system, alarm system, and generators.
• Painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and other projects relating to maintenance of the property.
• Preventative maintenance as scheduled on all equipment
• Responsible to ensure thorough the proper maintenance and repair of the Live! Casino and Hotel facility the safety and security of all guests and team members.
• Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and replacing gaming table layouts.
• Operate all types of hand tools, power tools, and machinery that relate to the function of a maintenance shop. Chemicals used in maintenance. Ladders, bucket truck, forklift, and safety equipment.
• Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and welcoming attitude. Complete knowledge of all facilities and entertainment available to guest.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Some technical school training and certification is preferred
• Two (2) plus years’ experience in maintenance in a commercial facility. Valid driver’s license may be necessary.
• You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment.
• Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.
