Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5 years Experience in a facilities, office support, building operations, or related environment
  • Proficiency with facilities management systems, work order tracking tools, and access control systems
  • Strong customer service and collaboration across teams, employees, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to address facilities issues and coordinate timely solutions
  • Functional knowledge of corporate office and warehouse building systems and maintenance operations
  • Project management, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail when managing work orders, access authorizations, and documentation
  • Ability to operate MS Office and related software (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to read and exchange information in documents
  • Compliance with safety protocols and PPE requirements for office and warehouse environments
  • Preferred certifications: CAPM, PMP, or FMP
  • Preferred driving license with clean record

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily facilities operations for assigned sites, ensuring workplace safety and service standards
  • Escalate and prioritize complex facilities issues; coordinate resources and drive timely resolution
  • Direct work by vendors and internal teams to ensure quality and contractual compliance
  • Assess facility conditions and space utilization; coordinate improvements and corrective actions
  • Plan office layouts, furniture moves, and space reconfigurations with stakeholder coordination
  • Support lease administration and monitor vendor contracts and service issues
  • Administer and safeguard security and access systems; align controls with policy
  • Contribute to process improvements and train others on procedures or systems
  • Travel locally to Patterson sites up to 10% for business needs
  • Maintain accurate facilities documentation and records

Job Summary

The Facilities Associate Lead is accountable to lead and coordinate complex facilities operations and planning activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective workplace environments. This role uses extensive experience and sound judgment to resolve non-route issues, guide daily work activities, and drive improvements to facilities processes and service delivery.

Essential Functions
  • Lead daily facilities operations for assigned sites or functions, ensuring consistent application of workplace, safety, and service standards
  • Serve as escalation point for complex or critical facilities issues; prioritize work orders, coordinate resources, and drive resolution with minimal oversight
  • Oversee and direct work performed by vendors and internal resources, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to contractual and operational expectations
  • Evaluate facility conditions and space utilization needs; recommend improvements, coordinate corrective actions, and support mid-scope facilities initiatives
  • Plan and coordinate office layouts, furniture and equipment moves, and space reconfigurations requiring judgment, sequencing, and stakeholder coordination
  • Support lease administration and vendor contracts by monitoring compliance, resolving service issues, and maintaining accurate records
  • Administer and safeguard physical security and access systems; ensure access controls align with policy and operational needs
  • Contribute to facilities process improvements, workflows, and standards; may train or coach others on procedures or systems
  • Comply with Company and department policies and standards; performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 5 years Experience in a facilities, office support, building operations, or related environment
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in using facilities management systems, work order tracking tools, and access control systems
  • Strong customer service and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with employees, contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills to assess facilities issues and coordinate timely, effective solutions
  • Functional technical knowledge of corporate office and warehouse building systems, workplace standards, and maintenance operations
  • Solid project management, organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when managing work orders, access authorizations, and facilities documentation
  • Ability to operate standard office technology and Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to read, interpret, and exchange information from electronic and written documents
  • Ability to comply with applicable safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements, and to work comfortably in both office and warehouse environments

The potential compensation range for this role is below. The final offer amount could exceed this range, based on various factors such as candidate location (geographical labor market), experience, and skills.
