Job summary

APM Terminals Panama is seeking a Facilities Associate to support administrative coordination across a busy port operation. This role offers exposure to international logistics and Lean-driven process improvements.

You will compile reports, inspect suppliers, and help maintain common areas while communicating in English and Spanish. This role provides pathways for growth within a global company focused on safety, efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Certified technician or graduate in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years in administrative roles or infrastructure maintenance coordination.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Lean/continuous improvement mindset.
  • Excellent English and Spanish communication.

Responsibilities

  • Compile logistics reports based on requests.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of the terminal’s suppliers.
  • Submit reports on projects and tasks and their progress (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
  • Efficiently manage common areas.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Compile logistics reports based on submitted requests.
  • Conduct weekly inspections of the terminal’s suppliers.
  • Submit reports (weekly, monthly, or quarterly) on ongoing projects or tasks and their progress.
  • Efficiently manage common areas.

We expect you to have

  • Certified technician or graduate in Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in administrative roles or infrastructure maintenance coordination. (preferred).
  • Microsoft Office package know
  • Organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Continuous improvement and process-driven mindset, Lean is a differential
  • Excellent English and Spanish written and verbal communication
