Job summary

New York City FC is seeking a Facilities Associate to support the Infrastructure & Facilities department at our Orangeburg Training Facility. You will assist with daily operations, safety, and long‑term asset management, collaborating with the Facility Manager and Coordinator on projects.

The role emphasizes organization, responsiveness, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, including event setup, vendor coordination, and administrative support in a fast-paced sports environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with coordinating facilities operations and projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic work environment.
• Experience working with contractors and vendors is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day facilities operations at the Training Facility.
• Coordinate with external contractors to ensure upkeep and safety.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events at the Training Facility.
• Provide project management support and administrative assistance.
• Support infrastructure development projects for the club.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Overview

This position will be responsible for supporting the New York City FC Infrastructure & Facilities department in many capacities, ranging from project and office work to consumer facing facility management. Additionally, this position will work closely with both the Facility Manager and Facility Coordinator from the Infrastructure department to plan, develop, and maintain the physical assets of New York City FC.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with day-to-day facilities operations of New York City FC Training Facility
• Work with external contractors to ensure upkeep and safety of facility
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events held at Training Facility
• Project Management support & administration
• Support club-wide infrastructure development projects
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• A passion for project management, construction and experience of facility management preferred
• Interest or experience in facility management and/or project management
• Experience showing professionalism expected around professional sports teams
• Ability to meet deadlines; accomplish work in order of priority; professionally maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Highly motivated and ability to work long days and non-traditional hours

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
