Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV invites applications for the Maintenance Engineer Apprentice role. The apprentice will assist daily maintenance tasks and provide administrative and technical support as directed by management.

Starting rate is $23.48 USD hourly. The role involves safety-focused duties, working with tools, reading blueprints, and performing repairs across various facilities and equipment.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Must obtain a valid driver’s license.
Experience in a similar position within a hotel, casino, resort, or large-scale facility environment.
Background in luxury hospitality, high-end hotel operations, or gaming industry settings preferred.
Experience working in a resort-style environment with a strong focus on guest service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist daily operations of maintenance engineers and provide admin/technical support.
Perform maintenance across carpentry, wallpaper, tiling, flooring, painting, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration and kitchen equipment.
