Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy facility in New York seeking an experienced Facilities and Special Projects Manager. You will oversee facility maintenance and take the lead on organizing diverse projects, coordinating with site managers, contractors, and the owner to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires a general understanding of farm operations, a hands-on mechanical mindset, and the ability to diagnose problems and manage repairs across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• General understanding of farm operations
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on problem solving
• Experience with farm equipment maintenance and repair
• Strong problem-solving skills and diagnostic ability
• Building maintenance or repair experience
• Experience leading or coordinating special projects such as cement, water, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways and buildings

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy facility located in New York who is searching for an experienced Facilities and Special Projects Manager. The Facilities and Special Project Manager will be working with the owner and employees to ensure over all smooth operation. This position would be responsible for ensuring the facilities are kept in good repair and taking the lead on organizing any special projects which may include, cement, water, electrical, pumps, lawns, driveways and buildings. This position would work with the site managers, outside personnel and owner on scheduling repairs, diagnosing problems and ordering parts/supplies. A general understanding of farm operations, diagnosis and problem solving is required for this position
