Job summary

RTX in Clayville, NY is seeking a Facilities Cleaner to perform routine building maintenance and heavy cleaning tasks in a manufacturing environment. You will clean restrooms, break rooms, floors, and common areas, and maintain exterior spaces and parking lots on a 4x10 schedule (2pm–12am).

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, reliable attendance, strong communication, and the ability to wear a respirator.

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US).
• Strong attendance record.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work hours outside the regular shift.
• Ability to wear a respirator.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning restrooms, break rooms, floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash.
• Maintains the exterior of the building and parking lots.
• Daily cleaning of restrooms, floors, furniture, doors, and water fountains.
• Vacuum and mop hard floors and shampoo carpets.
• Maintain parking lots, landscaping, emergency exits, roof drains and equipment.
• Plow and salt parking lot.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $21.00 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
