Job summary

Victoria ISD is seeking a Facilitator, Student Success (Elementary) to provide focused support to students and families, helping to remove barriers to readiness, attendance, and achievement.

You will collaborate with campus teams and district departments to identify at‑risk students and implement strategies to improve outcomes, emphasizing data‑driven evaluation and bilingual communication where possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or a related field.
• Valid Texas teaching certification (preferred).
• Experience in education, social service, or family support settings.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of community resources and support services.
• Ability to facilitate Student Success Teams.
• Knowledge of student attendance requirements.
• Ability to collect and analyze data for program evaluation and improvement.
• Bilingual (preferred).

Job Description

Provide assistance for students and their families to identify and remove barriers in school readiness, success, and attendance. Work with families of at-risk students in danger of not meeting grade level expectations. Collaborate with campus team and district departments to remove barriers to student success, particularly for student identified as at-risk.

Qualification Guidelines

Education/Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, or a related field

Valid Texas teaching certification (preferred)

Experience: Experience working in education, social service, or family support settings

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills

Knowledge of community resources and support services

Ability to facilitate Student Success Teams

Knowledge of student attendance requirements

Ability to collect and analyze data for program evaluation and improvement

Bilingual (preferred)
