We are seeking passionate Cybersecurity technical experts eager to nurture the next generation of technologists and creatives. We take pride in creating a vibrant community of expert facilitators with deep industry knowledge and enthusiasm for mentoring students.

This contractor opportunity involves guiding a small class of up to 5 learners through online coursework. Your primary focus will be facilitating weekly 1-hour discussions and providing personalized asynchronous written and video feedback on projects.

Courses Overview

• Essentials: Introduction to Cybersecurity, Python, Operating Systems & Networking.
• Threat Intelligence, Hunting, and System Hardening: Threat Intelligence, System Hardening, SIEM & Threat Hunting.
• Security Architecture & Penetration Testing: Security Frameworks, Incident Response, Penetration Testing & Applications.

Schedule

• 2.5 hours weekly commitment.
• 9 weeks of coursework over 11 weeks, structured as 3 weeks of facilitation, 1 week break, 3 weeks of facilitation, 1 week break, then 3 weeks of facilitation.
• Synchronous facilitation occurs on Wednesdays at 7pm CST.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity, with some mentoring or leadership preferred. Contract and part-time experience is relevant.
• Experience in instructional or mentoring roles, demonstrating a commitment to guiding others.

Compensation
