Job summary

Charles B. Wang Community Health Center is seeking a Facilitated Enroller in New York to enroll eligible individuals into Medicaid health insurance programs and educate them about the process.

The role requires bilingual skills (English/Chinese or English/Spanish) and experience in health or human services within immigrant communities. You will work on-site in Canal Street, NY, and participate in trainings while meeting targets.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Chinese or English/Spanish
• Experience in human services or health setting with Asian-American immigrant communities
• Experience using computers

Responsibilities

• Identify, educate, and enroll qualified Aged, Blind & Disabled individuals into Medicaid health insurance programs
• Ensure that applications are accurately completed and adhere to submission deadlines
• Meet productivity and quality performance targets
• Attend internal and external trainings and meetings
• Understand eligibility requirements for government-sponsored health insurance programs
• Maintain timely knowledge of government-sponsored health insurance program updates or changes
• Assist with community outreach activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $38,000.00 To $40,000.00 Annually

Responsibilities:

• Identify, educate, and enroll qualified Aged, Blind & Disabled population individuals into the relevant Medicaid health insurance program
• Assure that application is accurately completed and adhering to submission deadline dates
• Meet productivity and quality performance targets
• Attend internal and external trainings and meetings
• Understand overall eligibility requirements for government-sponsored health insurance programs
• Maintain timely knowledge of government-sponsored health insurance program updates or changes
• Assist with community outreach activities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English/Chinese or English/Spanish
• Experience working in a human service or health-related setting in Asian-American immigrant community
• Experience using computers
