Job summary

The Department of Otolaryngology at University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Medicine invites applications for an open rank faculty position in Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. Ideal candidates will hold MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degrees and demonstrate clinical excellence, research leadership, and a patient-centered approach.

Clinician, clinician-investigator, or investigator candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology and eligible for Alabama medical

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or MD/PhD degrees required or equivalent.
• Board certified or board eligible in Otolaryngology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Alabama.
• Fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care in facial plastics and reconstructive surgery.
• Establish independent research program and pursue extramural funding.
• Mentor residents and contribute to education within Otolaryngology.
