Job summary

Altak Group Inc. seeks an experienced Facets specialist to design, develop, configure, and maintain Facets solutions for US payer organizations.

You will implement modules, integrate with external healthcare applications, and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Responsibilities include troubleshooting production issues, supporting upgrades, and ensuring compliance with payer processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with Facets development/configuration.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Facets healthcare administration system.
• Experience working with US healthcare payers, health plans, or insurance organizations.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience with Facets integrations, interfaces, and data exchange.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, testing, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions within the Facets platform.
• Develop and customize Facets modules based on business and payer requirements.
• Work on claims, membership, enrollment, benefits, billing, provider, and plan configuration functionality.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Facets and external healthcare applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Support Facets upgrades, enhancements, patches, and system migrations.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation processes.
• Collaborate with QA teams on test planning, defect resolution, and release validation.
• Participate in technical design discussions and provide recommendations for improving system performance and reliability.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable US healthcare and payer business requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration specifications, and implementation guides.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Facets Web Services/API integrations.
• Knowledge of EDI transactions, including healthcare transactions such as 834, 837, 835, and 270/271.
• Experience with Facets upgrades and version migrations.
• Exposure to HIPAA and US healthcare compliance requirements.
• Experience with ETL/data migration projects.
• Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7/FHIR is a plus.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise healthcare environments.
