Job summary

Infosys Healthcare unit seeks a QA professional to drive requirements elicitation, design reviews, and test strategies across payer applications. You will code and validate data with SQL while helping deploy AI-driven healthcare solutions that improve patient outcomes.

Candidates should have hands-on QNXT/Facets experience, collaborate across SDLC, and work with cross-functional teams. Relocation/travel may be required; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent for this role is required.
• Healthcare payer domain knowledge across Claims, Enrollment, Benefits, Provider Management, Clinical & Utilization Management.
• Hands-on experience with QNXT and related payer applications.
• SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience with 834, 835, 837, 270/271, and 276/277 EDI transactions.

Responsibilities

• Document assigned parts of business requirements in line with guidance.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features while maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold quality.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.

Area of Responsibility

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects

Required Skills and Experience

• Manual Testing experience in QNXT / Facets Claims and Encounters.
• Healthcare Payer domain knowledge covering Claims, Enrollment, Benefits, Provider Management, Clinical & Utilization Management.
• Hands‑on experience with QNXT and related payer applications.
• SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Experience with EDI transactions including 834, 835, 837, 270/271, and 276/277.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in Test automation framework design.
• Experience in Automation Testing and test automation tools.
• Experience in HP ALM, JIRA, or Zephyr.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.
