Face to Face (not video or telephone) Interpretation

WHO WE ARE

Access 2 Interpreters, LLC, is the largest local interpretation & translation business in Columbus, providing interpreters and translators locally and nationwide. Our main office is located in Downtown Columbus.

As a face-to-face interpreter, you'll use your language skills to assist during medical, social service, and other appointments. This role offers flexible scheduling and good pay, rewarding those who help speakers of your language or dialect.

What You Need To Know

• Your bilingual skills are in high demand.
• As a contractor, you decide your own schedule.
• Assignments are available 24/7/365, mostly during business hours.
• You can take as many or as few assignments as you like.

Requirements

• Be located in the Central Ohio area.
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Be eligible to work in the United States.
• Pass a Federal Criminal Background Check and a 10-panel drug screening (at no cost).
• Provide proof of at least 40 hours of accredited interpreter training (e.g., Bridging the Gap, Access Academy, Court Interpretation, or a related degree).
• Provide Certification of Bilingual Proficiency or complete a 3rd Party Bilingual Fluency Evaluation.
