Job summary

Public Outreach Consultancy Inc in Los Angeles is hiring a Face-to-Face Fundraiser / Canvasser to engage people in the North Hollywood area on human rights campaigns.

Represent international nonprofits, spark conversations, explain issues clearly, and invite recurring donations. No prior fundraising required; paid training and ongoing coaching.

Shifts are outdoors, 21–35 hours weekly, with a guaranteed $20/hour base plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old or older
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• No fundraising experience required (helpful but not required)
• Comfortable working outdoors and walking/standing for shifts
• Willing to learn through paid training and coaching

Responsibilities

• Represent international nonprofit organizations in public spaces or residential neighborhoods
• Speak with members of the public about campaigns and explain why they matter
• Invite people to support campaigns via recurring donations
• Work with a fundraising team and meet clear goals
• Maintain a welcoming and respectful experience for everyone you meet
