Job summary

Job description

Facade Engineer

As a Facade Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining the exterior facade of buildings in the city of Akron. This includes working with a variety of materials such as glass, metal, and stone to create functional and aesthetically pleasing facades. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs comply with local regulations and safety standards.

Your main duties will include conducting site surveys to assess the condition of current facades and identifying areas for improvement or repair. You will also collaborate with architects and contractors to develop new facade designs that meet the client's needs while staying within budget constraints.

In addition to design work, you will oversee the installation process and conduct quality control checks to ensure that all work is completed according to specifications. You may also be required to troubleshoot any issues that arise during construction and provide solutions to keep the project on track.

To excel in this role, you must have a strong understanding of building materials and construction techniques. Previous experience in facade engineering or architecture is highly preferred. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills in English as you will be working with a diverse team of professionals from different backgrounds.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. As such, we are looking for candidates who are organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

Please note that this is a full-time position without accommodation provided. The salary for this role starts at $1700 per month but may increase based on experience and performance.
