Position Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our Wood Department. This role involves hands-on carpentry work and the application of recycled plastic materials to our custom products. The ideal candidate will have strong woodworking skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for quality craftsmanship. Experience working with composite materials or recycled plastics is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble wood and recycled plastic components for custom site furnishings and bike racks.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to meet exact specifications.
  • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools (saws, sanders, routers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Cut, shape, and finish materials to precise measurements and quality standards.
  • Apply recycled plastic panels or trim components to metal frames or other base structures.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Perform quality control checks throughout the fabrication process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all company safety protocols.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or wood fabrication preferred.
  • Familiarity with working with composite materials such as recycled plastic lumber.
