Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum welding or fabrication experience as listed.
• Experience reading shop drawings and weld symbols.
• Mentoring or leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings, weld symbols, and procedures.
• Measure, layout, cut, cope, and fit structural steel components.
• Assemble components with clamps and tack welds to prepare for weld-out.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances prior to welding.
• Inspect welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
