Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Fabricator/Welder to support our Fabrication Warehouse in La Mirada, CA. The role involves reading design drawings, cutting materials to spec, and MIG/TIG welding stainless steel and aluminum components for various sets and displays.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma and 2–3 years of manufacturing experience, with proficiency in power tools, blueprints, and basic computer software. Able to lift up to 70 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Read design drawings and use blueprints to complete projects accurately.
• MIG and TIG weld stainless steel and aluminum components.
• Experience with multiple shop tools and measuring equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements.
• Stand for long hours and lift/move up to 70 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Read design drawings and work instructions to complete projects accurately.
• Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure conformance to specs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
