Working Hours: MON-THU: 6am-4:30pm, with some overtime on Fridays.

Compensation: $21.00 per hour +

Position: Fabricator/Welder

Responsibilities include:

  • Sub-assembly of fabricated parts and/or components for easy to complex curved stair lifts.
  • Testing and calibrating assemblies to meet tolerances, product specifications, and work instructions.
  • Working to achieve daily production schedules and ensuring high-quality products for customers.

Duties:

  • Assembling, installing, and adjusting mechanical and electronic mechanical components using hand tools, assembly fixtures, and test devices according to customer specifications and final product testing.
  • Layout, fabrication, and final leveling of easy, medium, and complex curved stair lifts.
  • Acquiring AWS certification for tubes.
  • Using hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to specifications.
  • Identifying and reporting units that fail tests or tolerance levels.

Must be able to meet daily production goals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in assembly/sub-assembly in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Ability to use MIG welding equipment and read curved stair lift drawings; experience with hand and power tools.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
