Job summary

TransMaster Trailers is seeking two experienced Welder/Fabricators to support our heavy haul trailer production on the 1st shift. You will join a team, read blueprints, perform MIG welding and vertical welding, and ensure quality specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Experience in MIG welding.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work from technical drawings.
• Knowledge of pre-heating procedures and welding metallurgy basics.
• Ability to work independently with limited errors and maintain productivity.

Responsibilities

• Welds and fabricates components per blueprints.
• Interprets and fabricates projects from drawings.
• Demonstrates MIG welding and vertical welding proficiency.
• Maintains quality specifications and deadlines.
• Performs other welding-related duties as required.

ROLE:
To work as a team member for a leading heavy haul trailer manufacturer within Production, as a Welder-Fabricator. This role will work closely with the Production Fabrication Lead, perform welding activities, ensuring all product specifications, quality requirements, and deadlines are met.

1. Adequately exhibits and performs all the requirements of the Welder/Fabricator.
2. Interprets and fabricates projects from blueprints.
3. Exhibits necessary skills for MIG welding.
4. Exhibits proficiency with vertical welding.
5. Improved proficiency with welding, in consideration of extremely limited errors and productivity.
6. Exhibits the skill level to work independently.
7. Exhibits understanding and proper utilization of Pre-heating procedures and processes.
8. Exhibits an understanding of metallurgy.
9. Performs other business-related duties as required and assigned.
