Opta USA, an Opta Group Company, is seeking a Laborer/Fabrication support role to assist welding and cage production in the fabrication department. The position involves measuring, cutting, welding and maintaining inventories, with emphasis on safety and workmanship.

Qualifications

• Ability to accurately and effectively use a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and weld 1/2-inch rod into cage frames as needed; fabricate steel pallets.
• Monitor raw material and finished cage inventories.
• Measure rod to proper length for designated cage style; ensure correct table placement.
• Keep fabrication areas clean and organized at all times.
• Perform laborer duties in production and/or shipping/receiving as required.
• Attend safety meetings and trainings as required.
