Overview

We are helping our clients find a skilled and motivated Fabricator / Warehouse Lead to join our team in Gastonia, NC. Candidates need to speak both English and Spanish. This dual-role position requires hands-on fabrication expertise and the ability to oversee daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will fabricate parts and components per technical drawings while also leading inventory control, shipping/receiving, and material handling within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication Duties
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or work orders
  • Cut, shape, and assemble materials using hand tools, welding equipment, or machines
  • Perform layout, fitting, and final finishing work
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
  • Operate CNC machines, shears, grinders, and other shop equipment
  • Maintain a clean and safe fabrication area
• Warehouse Lead Duties
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
  • Coordinate material staging and movement to support production schedules
  • Track inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Supervise warehouse staff and delegate daily tasks
  • Ensure compliance with safety and organizational standards
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment
  • Assist with logistics coordination and vendor deliveries

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in fabrication (metal, wood, or composite)
• 1–2 years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a strong plus
• Ability to read blueprints, measure accurately, and work to tight tolerances
• Experience operating forklifts and warehouse equipment (valid certification preferred)
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory software is a plus
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
