Qualifications

• Certified welder with experience in horizontal, flat, vertical, overhead welding.
• Able to read precision gauges and blueprints.
• Must be able to read blueprints and perform layout.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Experience or understanding of the construction industry.
• Good reading and math skills required.
• Strong analytical skills, mechanical aptitude, and manual dexterity preferred.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school education or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from conveyors to assist in fitting and welding.
• Holds tape, edges, and marks reference points for layout.
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, and work in process by hand or with a truck.
• Attaches chains and clamps to prepare pieces for crane or jib movement.
• Cleans and grinds metal prep before fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.
• Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas and cleans tools and machines.
• Operates overhead cranes and fabricates miscellaneous metals and related items.

Fabricator Job Summary:

We are hiring multiple 2nd shift fabricatorswith experience in the fabrication of miscellaneous metals, with specific experience in layout, welding, and fabricating stairs and rails.

Fabricator Requirements:

• Lifts, positions, and removes workpieces from conveyors and bunks to assist in fitting and welding
• Holds tape and edges and marks reference points to be responsible for the layout
• Loads, stacks, and transports stock, tools, and work in process by hand or truck
• Attaches chains and clamps (dogs) to workpieces to prepare workpieces for moving by crane or jib
• Cleans and grinds metal preparatory to fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping
• Picks up and trucks scrap from work areas
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment
• Operates overhead cranes
• Fabricates miscellaneous metals and related items

Schedule:

2nd shift, 4:00 pm- 3:00 am, Monday-Friday

Pay:

$22.00/HR +BOE

Fabricator Qualifications:
