Summary

The Fabricator cuts and threads pipe for daily work orders.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Checks paperwork and materials for accuracy and prepares required materials for fabrication
• Cuts, threads, grooves, grinds, and sprays pipes using various tools and machines to specifications
• Inspects finished products for defects
• Bundles, labels, and packs fabricated pipe
• Places completed bundles on pallets or footings with strappings using a forklift in the storage area
• Reviews open work orders and ensures timely and accurate completion
• Assists other Fabricators and Welders as needed
• Reports equipment malfunctions, safety issues, and repairs needed
• Performs according to company standards for production volume
• Maintains a safe workplace by following all safety rules, procedures, and using personal protective equipment; reports hazards immediately
• Performs other duties as assigned

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Must be punctual and attend work regularly
• Wears safety clothing and shoes as required, including harnesses, glasses, lift belts, and steel-toe shoes
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and loading/stacking equipment
• Performs repetitive hand and wrist movements efficiently
• Good dexterity and hand/eye coordination required
• Works near moving mechanical parts
• Must stand for 100% of the time
• Occasionally lifts materials up to 80 pounds
