Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a skilled Machinist for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 1:45pm-10:15pm) in Michigan. The role focuses on inspecting and fabricating parts using calipers, gages, and various fabrication equipment to meet stringent quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of manufacturing experience in sheet metal fabrication or CNC machining. OT is scheduled based on production needs. Eligible for bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years manufacturing experience specifically in sheet metal fabrication or CNC machining.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections using calipers, angle gages, and other inspection equipment to ensure quality standards.
• Produce high-quality fabricated parts using a variety of fabrication equipment.
• Operate production equipment including loader/unloader stations, drill presses, weld nut stations, saws, and other basic fabrication machinery and tooling.
• Perform inspections using required quality and measurement equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Complete machine setup, work preparation, fabrication, cleanup, preventive maintenance, and quality assurance activities for assigned equipment and work areas.
• Train new employees on processes, equipment, safety requirements, and best practices.
