Job description

The Masstron Producing Organization (MTMS) designs, develops, and produces products within the METTLER TOLEDO Vehicle and Heavy Capacity product families and serves in direct support of the Vehicle Scale Strategic Business Unit which develops and implements the strategic direction of the global vehicle scale product line. This entry level position for the Fabrication team requires a safe working, detail-oriented Fabricator able to be trained in material handling with forklifts and cranes for machine operators in addition to operating and maintaining foundational fabrication machinery and tools essential to production processes.

What you will do

• Complete daily work from a production schedule utilizing blueprints, standard work, and work instructions.
• Accurately enter data into the ERP (e.g., SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated.
• Maintain quality throughout the process.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Maintain stock control, pull items for orders, assist other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders.
• Setup and operate Saw and Tumble Blast.
• Aid in operation of Large Brake.
• Handle material for Plasma Area with Crane.
• Contribute to facility 5S and Lean initiatives.
• Operate fork trucks and cranes.
• Perform daily activities safely.
• Identify and implement safety improvements.
